Eat or be eaten
A physics-driven multiplayer horror game where hungry, man-made monsters stalk, pounce on and devour each other in procedurally generated dungeons.
Hunt
The lights fail. Only the eyes glow. Every Gorb in the dungeon is looking for its next meal, and it might be you.
Pounce
Physics-driven movement. Close the gap, then lunge with jaws wide open. Timing is everything, and a missed pounce leaves you exposed.
Devour
Swallow rivals whole. Every meal counts, and every time you're eaten, someone else is winning.
Everyone's hungry
Online multiplayer with friends, plus CPU Gorbs that hunt like players. Every Gorb in the room is after the same meals.
Never the same
Procedurally generated facilities with corridors, tunnels and slopes, plus randomised lights and materials. Every round is rebuilt from scratch.
One developer.
Every node.
NightMaw is made by one developer at Sneaking Studios. Every blueprint, every level generator and every set of teeth is built by hand, and the whole journey is shared on the dev log.

FAQ
When is NightMaw coming out?
NightMaw is heading to Early Access on Steam. There's no date yet: private playtests come first, then a public playtest. Wishlist it and Steam will tell you the moment it's out.
Which platforms?
PC via Steam first. An Android version is in development, and consoles are being explored, but there's nothing to announce yet.
How does a match work?
Everyone plays a Gorb. Hide, hunt, pounce and swallow the others before they swallow you. A full match lasts roughly 10 to 20 minutes, and every round takes place in a freshly generated facility.
Can I play with friends? Solo?
Yes to both. Play online with friends or with others, and CPU Gorbs fill the room and hunt like players. Arcade mode lets you take on the CPU Gorbs solo or in co-op. Exact player counts will be confirmed after playtesting.
Is it gory?
No. There's no blood or gore. Swallowing is a stylised transformation: creepy and tense, not graphic.
Does it support controllers?
Yes. Full controller support, including every menu, is being built before Early Access.
How much will it cost?
The price will be confirmed before Early Access. The aim is to keep it low, so it's easy to get a group of friends together.
Who's making it?
One developer at Sneaking Studios, using Unreal Engine 5. The whole journey is shared on the dev log.
